Yes! Barre is a great technique for new mamas or soon to be mamas! As long as you feel comfortable to exercise and have been cleared by your doctor, it is a great way to maintain strength, energy and have fun! Try to arrive to class at least 15 minutes prior to inform your instructor and discuss any modifications that might be necessary to ensure a safe workout for you.

Unfortunately, there is no magic number or answer and everybody is different. However consistency is key! Listen to your body and take rest days when you need one, otherwise barre is safe and effective to do often, even every day! We would recommend coming more days in the week then not— it is muscle memory and the more often you come the more strength and endurance you build.
